Bohol Day 1 - Bohol Bee Farm

Its our first trip to Bohol and my first flight via AirPhilippines since I'm used flying with Philippines Airlines. We onboarded on time and reached Tagbilaran city around 12:30pm.

We booked our hotel at Amorita Resort, Panglao which is about 30-45minutes drive from Tagbilaran. Standard check-in time is 2pm, but thanks to Amorita for allowing us to have an early check in,yey! We were mesmerized with our room because it's so cozy and all we want is just to lay down and get more sleep..ZZzzzz! The room is more than we expected.  My friend was also surprised with this beautiful flower petals set up in our bed, these are so lovely!

As part of our itinerary, I told my friend that we can’t skip the recommended (by friends and food blogs), the Bohol Bee Farm -about 15-20minutes away from Amorita via local tricycle. Note: Ask the tricycle driver to pick you up as well after, since there are no public transportation passing by the area, and the road is too rough. You can either ask the driver to wait if you will just eat and not stay too long in the farm. Bohol bee farm is all natural, all organic which definitely offers a healthy food to everyone.

                                            Bohol Bee Farm Dining Area

Their complimentary bread with mango and malunggay spread is my favorite.

                                                    Honey glazed chicken

                                                    Blue marlin

By the way, every meal is serve with garden salad on the side. Price is cheap for 220bucks. We stayed for 2 hours for our lunch/merienda and walking around the farm.

Bohol bee farm delicacies (all kinds of honey, just name it!)

My all time favorite spreads

We went back to Amorita around 5:30pm and stroll around the beach to catch the sunset. Alona beach also has powdery sand but Boracay has definitely better. Its been a long tiring day so we decided to stay in our comfy room, watch tv and sleep early so we can have full energy for the next day.
